Hi, I'm using the smpp ra. When i try to install the DU in mobicents i get the following error:
javax.management.MBeanException:javax.slee.management.DeploymentException: Could not deploy: Unknown event type net.java.slee.resource.smpp.DELIVER_SM#net.java#3.4
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andrea

Please provide more information, such as which version of JAIN SLEE are you using, how are you deploying it.

If you are using binary version, just copy the DU jar to deploy folder, if you are building from source you should run mvn clean install from ./resources/smpp.

Missing dependencies for SMSSender-DU.jar:

EventTypeID[net.java.slee.resource.smpp.DELIVER_SM#net.java#3.4]
EventTypeID[net.java.slee.resource.smpp.SUBMIT_SM_RESP#net.java#3.4]
EventTypeID[net.java.slee.resource.smpp.MESSAGE#net.java#3.4]
ResourceAdaptorEntityLink[0020]

It seems that SMPP RA isn't deployed, make sure it is.

You can check what's deployed by going to the following link (replace 127.0.0.1 by the AS IP address if not running locally):

http://127.0.0.1:8080/jmx-console/HtmlAdaptor?action=invokeOpByName&name...

Also please notice that the default SMPP RA Entity Link name is "SmppRA" and not "0020", so you may want to change that in your sbb-jar.xml:

...

ok, i installed smpp-ra from management console (install deployable unit) and i got the following error:

java.lang.Exception:Could not find Resource adaptor Entity for Link Name: [SmppRA] of RA Type [ResourceAdaptorTypeID[SMPPResourceAdaptorType#net.java#3.4]]

if i try to deploy the Smpp RA copying the RA to default/deploy folder i get some errors:

[DeploymentManager] Failure invoking 'activateResourceAdaptorEntity<[SmppRA]> on slee:name=ResourceManagementMBean
javax.management.MBeanException: javax.slee.resource.ResourceException: Connection refused...
...

but it seems that RA is installed. When i try to deploy my DU i get:
DeploymentException: Could not deploy: null

Thanks,
Andrea

If you deploy it from Management Console you have to manually create the Entity Link in the console. It's easier to deploy copying to deploy folder.

This is because you need to configure the connection to your SMPP server.. please check http://groups.google.com/group/mobicents-public/web/smpp-resource-adaptor for information on doing that.

Properties are defined in resource-adaptor-jar.xml.

This is probably due to some problem with your deployable-unit.xml... make sure it is correct, and that the jars/xml specified in it are present in the DU and that paths are correct.

"The one way is consisted in specifying the URL pointed to properties file as an argument to the CLI's method createResourceAdaptorEntity()"
What does it mean?
Where can i find resource-adaptor-jar.xml?

My deployable-unit.xml contains:

jars/smsSender-sbb.jar
src/smsSender-service.xml

the .jar and .xml files are present in the DU. The paths are correct.
Any suggest?
Thanks,
Andrea
