How to view SIP Response message

Hi all,

I'm quite new to mobicents technology, so I'm still testing the examples to get used to it.

In particular I'm studying SIP Wake Up example, but I think my question is more general.
On the standard output I can see the messages that the SIP Client sends, but not the ones sended by the server.
How can I manage to see them?

However I'm sure that the example works fine, because I can see the 200 OK Response from the Client to the Message retransmitted by the server after x seconds and I can see the message content on my Client...

P.S.

I had some trouble finding a good SIP Client for my tests, the suggested ones (especially SIP Communicator) don't seem to work: at the end I choose 3CX Phone and I'm quite glad of it.
Does anyone use or know it and can confirm it is a good choice?

Pasquale

Your best option to see network messages is a network sniffer such as wireshark.

Thank you for the replay.

I thought there should be a way to display the messages on the prompt screen, but I' try with wireshark.

About the sip client, while I didn't find problems with the registration using Xlite, unlike SipCommunicator, apparently it is not possible to send instant messages (or at least I was not able to send them).
What version of Xlite did you use?

As seen in http://groups.google.com/group/mobicents-public/web/jain-slee-sip-wake-up :

This example was tested with Xlite 3 and Sip Comm 1.0.alpha3, to send a message in those clients you need to add a contact sip:wakeup@nist.gov.

If you are working on LINUX OS then twinkle would be a good choice :)
I tried it and it works just fine ;)

to eduardomartins: Thank you. I'm sorry I should know it, I also read it before, but I did not remeber. However I was not able to use Xlite 3 for this test.

to sachinparnami: I'm working on windows, but thank you for the replay.

Pasquale,
I used the Xlite 3 and the SIP Wake UP tests were OK.
You must create a contact (pointed to wakeup@nist.gov) and after clik with the mouse (right bottom) in this contact and open a new sub menu with IM option.
