We just started getting a "certificate expired" notice when one of our
applications downloads the Image I/O Tools package from java.net. We're using
the URL:

http://download.java.net/media/jai-imageio/webstart/release/jai-imageio-...

Is this cretificate in fact expired, and if so will it be renewed? Is a bug tracker ticket needed to get this in the work queue?

Thanks,
Carl

Reported this via Bug Tracker as issue number 2 (https://jai-imageio-webstart.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2).

Accepting the certificate by clicking "Run" with the "Always trust content from this publisher" eliminates the warning the next time the application is started, although results may vary depending on what access your application needs to local resources. (The certificate can be removed later via the Java Control Panel.)
