Hi Everybody!

I'm just trying to run one of the applications ZXing under the emulator but it seems something does not work.

I think it's something related zayit program or library but I'm unable to identify what's the problem. The emulator crashes just before running the app and after everything is initialized.

The actual error is:
Error: Storage paths not specified.

And the last logs lines are:

But it seems to find /opt/wtk-2.5.2/appdb/SonyEricsson_JP8_240x320_Emu/in.use
so it can use filesystem.

So the question is. How can I get this to work?

I have to say that I managed run the program with the normal j2me toolkit from sun perfectly.

But wanted to try it out with evey SonyEricsson phone and new features. Ex. capuccin

Thank you very much!

Best regards.

Hey you are using linux... Way to go!!

Have you set your storage path in the WTK project setting?
go to the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences..". A dialog box will
come up and there is a tree selector on the left. Click on "Storage"
and the form that will appear to the right will have a field "Storage root directory:"
Fill that in to be the path location you know is there.

Most likely you have some permissions on the path that is confusing the Emulator,
or there is no default and it can't figure out where to put it.

Hope that helps.
