Wrong parameter for this method - connection pool error

Hi everyone,

When trying to ping a connection pool, I got this error as can be seen in the image attached.
Also, it occurs to every other connection pool created by me, but not the default ones.

Could somebody give me some hints on how to fix it? "This method" refer to the "ping" method, right? What parameter does "wrong parameter" refer to?

I got this exact same error after installing NB6.5 and GF2.2, but it worked out-of-the-box with NB6.1 and GF2.1.

I resolved it by removing all settings other than these (in the Addition Properties tab of the Resources/JDBC/Connection Pools screen in the GF admin) for the connection pool: User, DatabaseName, Password, serverName, URL, portNumber.

I can't remember which, but I think one of the ones i removed had a value of 'off' (it related to security/SSL IIRC). I believe that removing that fixed it.

I consider this a bug in either the NB or GF distributions, or a version mismatch.

The exception seems to come from the jdbc driver.
can you post your connection pool configuration (GF-INSTALL-DIR/domains//config/domain.xml) ?
and
the exceptions from server.log :
GF-INSTALL-DIR/domains//logs/server.log) ?

Thank you in advance :)

Instead of the value "off" to the property Ssl, can you set it to "0"

"Ssl" value="0"
and see whether that solves the issue ?

When I set it to 0, it asked me "set Ssl". So I deleted it away and ping succeeded :)

Thanks a lot guys! Without you guys, I would be dead by now :)
