I'm just starting play around with glassfish and I'm also new to jsp.
It looks llike I need to convert my jsp to WAR so I can deploy it in glassfish.
Is there an easy wat to do this from glassfish? What the typical way to do this.
Thank you very much

Even though I never tried, you dont need to package the application if
you use directory deployment.The below link can help you:

package the war from the supplied application's build.xml e.g.

cd %GLASSFISH_HOME%/samples/quickstart/build.xml

>ant war
this will build the quickstart.war for you

%GLASSFISH_HOME%/bin/asadmin

asadmin> deploy --interactive=true --host localhost --port 4848 --user admin --v
erify=true --name hello --upload=true
%GLASSFISH_HOME%/samples/quickstart/build/assemble/war/hello.war
