Real time streaming with MMAPI??

I'm working for a project that aims at providing real time feedback to athletes according to his/her performance. We are doing it in J2ME. The sound must change seamlessly with the athlete's acceleration value.

We have to generate the sound data immediately when a acceleration value is received and send it to media player. However it seems the media player has to load the audio data first before it starts to play it. The delay it causes is up to several seconds. This is serious problem for this application.

I'm wondering if there is any other way of playing audio other than Manager.createPlayer()? Is there any way that we can skip various states of the media player like realized, prefetch? Or can we fasten the change of state of media player?

I appreciate so much if anyone can give me some help!
