I see talk in the forumns telling people to make this call in order to perform updates:

((DefaultTreeTableModel)treeTable.getTreeTableModel()).nodesWereInserted(insertAtNode, childIndices);

So the question is, I have the latest code as of this week and this method is nowhere to be found?!?!

I am trying to get my treetable to update visually after a model has nodes inserted, so if this method is deprecated how do I do it?

Thanks,

Chris

while it is the unfortunate and near-to unbelievable truth that our beloved server-based supporting company appears to be unable to keep even the most basic infrastructure running I personally am puzzled that you couldn't find any doc .. when everything else fails, then the last fall-back option is the fact that swingx is a project at dev.java.net and as such has a documents & files page which is where the output of the weekly builds end up.

Enjoy your weekend, nevertheless :-)

maybe you can't find it because ... it isn't there ;-) Instead of running after rumored ghost methods a better strategy might be to read the java api doc of the class in question (hint: search for "insert")

http://swinglabs.java.sun.com/hudson/

Select the build you want, usually the CI build, and select the JavaDoc link.
