Hope you are not in too big a rush.... as hooks into the call processing logic do not exist in JavaME for Cellphones. The current standards that have started to make it into the mainstream include MSA.

If you were to do some type of SIP client then you would be able to get this information, but only for SIP calls made to the device.

What you would want is JSR 253 - mobile telephony API (MTA) which while has been in final release for over 3 years no company has brought it into the market due to the lack of push by either the JCP or Sun.

Hmm... this sounds like something that the JCP Executive Committee for JavaME should be working on. Too bad only 25 people felt that I would have made a good addition.

A little bit out of topic; how do I do if I want to vote in an JCP Executive Committee election. Do I have this right if I am registered as a person, not a company?

Yes I would say so, just a bit off topic.... and weeks too late. Voting closed, elections are over, fate of JavaME sealed.

If you were registered in time you would have gotten an email from the JCP stating how to vote.

Not even 9% cared enough to vote anyway, not to mention the Mobile Developers Alliance is a total joke now. No one pays attention nor cares enough to want to try.

With that I'm done.
