Hi there,

we have a customer who experiences problems running our LWUIT based app on its HTC Diamond. We advised the customer to download and install phoneME Advanced dual stack from here:

http://www.cs.kuleuven.be/~davy/phoneme/index.php?q=node/10

but I seems there is some lack of understanding how to set it as the JVM to use. Since we don't have any access to Windows Mobile devices we are not able to tell our customer how to do that.

Is there any information available on how to set phoneME as the JVM to use on Windows Mobile?

Thanks in advance.
Stephan

Hi Stephan,

Is this a MIDP application or a CDC based application?

If it is a MIDP midlet, your client can either use phoneME Feature or phoneME Advanced dual
stack. For a CDC regular application, you probably need the phoneME Advanced Personal
Profile.

You may need to create some startup files to start the application as explained at:

Hi,

I am having problem creating the files. It would be of great help if you could share the two files to be created.

Thanks,
Technolgia

If you are referring to the startup files, you can find some examples over here:
