"Dead" links for JDK6 source download

If I go to the web page http://download.java.net/jdk6/6u10/archive/ to see the full list of JDK6 releases, and I then try to download any of the source bundles, no link after "JDK6u2" actually offers a source bundle. That is, only JDK6u2 and earlier source bundle links go to a web page that provides sources bundles. Does anybody know where these files may be found for later releases?

I'm trying to understand a Java Web Start bug that seems to have been introduced in JDK6. I downloaded an openjdk source, but cannot find *any* java web start code in there. Specifically, I cannot find any "jnlp" nor "javaws" directories in the openjdk source tree I downloaded (openjdk-6-src-b14-25_nov_2008.tar.gz).

I really appreciate your posts and the links included therein. I Googled to try to find information about this and absolutely failed to find anything meaningful.

We're working on fixing that page and providing links to the JRL sources for the latest update release.

In fact, here's direct link to the JRL sources for 6u12:

Many thanks! This helped me submit a bug report with a proposed fix that refers to the JDK6u12 source rather than the far older JDK6u2 source.

Indeed, Sun just outright stopped posting JRL source after 6u3 without a hint of official explanation, despite requests for clarification in this forum, and in java.net and sun.com bugtrackers.

Lately they broke the download.java.net/jdk6 website a bit more, removing access to the 6u3 source too, leaving only up to 6u2.

Throughout all this, the uselessly out of date download.java.net/jdk6 site has remained linked to by the official java.sun.com/javase download page.

Overall, the way Sun seem to be being shockingly lackadaisical about the entire issue.

Just in the last few days, though, there's been a glimmer of hope: the source for 6u11 & 6u12 (but not any other intervening versions) landed in the https://jdk-jrl-sources.dev.java.net subversion repository.

Damn, I don't have permissions for that page.. Any idea where to get them?

My guess (and what I just did) is go to https://jdk6.dev.java.net/ and find the link toward the top that says "Request project role" and click there. I am trying to get the "Observer" which appears to allow me to submit bug reports with fix attempts. As long as I can make a bug report, supply a patch in that bug report, and have it get included in a release after a review, I don't need the ability to personally commit a change.
