Hi,

I am a newbie about LWUIT on Java TV. To my limited understanding to the MHP, it already support HAVi UI toolkit, then what role the LWUIT play on such platform?

1. You can choose only one side or both can be used in parallel?
2. If you can choose only one side, what is the criteria in choosing which one?

Sincerely yours,

Henri

Hi,

LWUIT development was inspired by HAVi and Swing, together with advance experience from the mobile world.
All that will come to a point were LWUIT will give more advance and flashy UI to your interactive applications

>> "1. You can choose only one side or both can be used in parallel?"
One of the biggest advantages of LWUIT is that it can be ported easily to every platform, hence can live together with HAVi

>> "2. If you can choose only one side, what is the criteria in choosing which one?"
As was mention above, LWUIT will give advance user experience behavior, with cool flash effects, all together with ease of development to your box.
One of the biggest advantages, is that LWUIT will give you the benefit of running the same application on mobile and TV sets.
