When deploying a lot, GlassFish makes temporary files out of WAR's, EAR's etc in "/tmp" directory (Unix/Linux). However, it never gets to be deleted. Does anyone knows how to properly purge this space waste?..
The folder that GlassFish creates for temporary files and all files in it get deleted when you stop the server - which for production systems is no ideal solution.
In the next version v3 any war file uploaded for deployment gets deleted immediately after the deployment.
Alas, this still happens in 4.0 (build 89).
