Internationalization support

Hi!

I've tried to run a midlet on a CLDC\MIDP\LWUIT stack using the phoneME Feature MR 3 (for Win32\ARM), but there seems not to be full support for the Mobile Internationalization API (JSR-238), since it can't find ResourceManager class. Does anyone know when there will be a compiled version for Win32\ARM Windows Mobile 5/6 that fully supports JSR-238?

Did you compile the phoneME Feature VM yourself or did you download it from somewhere?

The sources for JSR 238 are not available in the phoneME subversion repository, but I can compile the JSR from the official phoneme_feature-mr3-rel-src-b01-17_jul_2008.zip release against a more recent subversion (rev16872) checkout of the MIDP stack. I have not tested it yet, though.

I used the MIDP-phoneme_feature_mr3-win32_arm_wm5-bin-rev16539.zip from your site, so I didn't compile it myself. Now I can see that you have uploaded MIDP-phoneme_feature_mr3-win32_arm_wm5-bin-rev16872.zip on your site, so I will try that code instead. But the latter zip-file is much smaller than the rev16539 zip-file, is that ok?

I will test the rev16872 on wednesday, and if it works with my midlet the problem I've posted in the phoneME Advanced Forum (http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=57074&tstart=0) will automatically be solved too, since I can use the same code for my midlet/application to run on both mobile phones with the MSA and on high-end devices with the phoneME Feature VM rev16872, which would be great.

Thanks!

The zip file is indeed smaller because I removed some files in the bin directory and I also compressed the runMidlet.exe with UPX in order to save space.
