Debugging Output

Has anyone had success with getting debug info out of software BD players?

Using the Java ME Early Access SDK and the Arcsoft player, I have been able to see exceptions and System.out.println() in the output window, but I haven't been able to find out how to use this feature outside of the context of the SDK.

Are there command line arguments to any of the BD players that create a log file? Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

Perhaps this can help.

I've been using developer evaluation copies of the PC players as described here,

... and do not know how much of the debug options work on a standard, commercially available PC players. ArcSoft's standard copy seemed to enable the debug output the last time I looked.

with winDVD you can set the output mode in the registry and get system out in debugView.
