I am very new to the jmake widgets.
I want to add a ballon comment to the text of the jmake tree, I explain, when you move the cursor over the text of a jmake tree node i need that a temporary comment appers.
I have been very busy and I have not tried your solution.
But I found another way to add tooltips to a part of a jmaki widget.
The idea is:
Download wz_tooltip.js from http://www.walterzorn.com/tooltip/tooltip_e.htm
Add the wz_tooltip.js file into the Web Pages directory
Follow the instructions to use the toot tip.
Finally in any jmaki widget you can use the suggested syntax to call the tool,
For example in the dojo.table you can use the suggested syntax in the pace of the label content.
When you run the widget and you hover the mouse on the label, the tooltip is seen.
I cannot include the example because the forum web tool interprets the commands.
I ‘m pretty sure you know that it works, the result is fine looking.
Easiest way is to render a 'titile' attribute on the element you with. More difficult would be to find the position of the element and add a absolutely positioned div with a high z-index.
If you look at the google map popup I have some code / images for creating the popup.
Can you give it a look and let me know if this is what you are looking for?
