hi! I'm Sesu...I'm trying to make a menu selection circular, with:
A static center focus --> F
Horizontal Bar Menu --> H (Categories)
Vertical Bar Menu --> V (Sub Categories)

......V Graphic
......V
......V
HH F HHHH
......V
......V

When pressing Right Arrow... the F focus change to next(right) Item(H) and pressing Left Arrow change to the back(left) item(H)... where de F (focus) is static... if it pressing UP or Down Arrow is the same mechanism...in the Vertical Bar (V)....like the up Graphic...

I started to make with HAVi but I don't know which objects and methods I could use...
I'm using a Vector, HContainer, HListElement and HListGroup....

Did you try using LWUIT for that?

hi thanks, i didn't, because I started with OCAP 1.0 (HAVi & JAVA SE), I don't know if I could combine OCAP standard & LWUIT...(?)
I saw with LWUIT is easy to make the static item movement in a list that I want...just use the List Class (FIXED_NONE, FIXED_NONE_CYCLIC )...
I would like to make this movement with HAVi?

Hi,

Regarding using LWUIT with OCAP, our LWUIT is ported on top of Personal Basis Profile (PBP), so if your box is using such stack, you can take the CDCPort.jar from our JavaTV SDK emulator/lib/ and just add it to your classpath.
Regarding help with HAVi, I'm sure that there are more knowledgeable people that can assist you
