Hi all,

I have a pretty dumb question: how can I make a transparent stage?
This is what i tried:

var windowW = 250;
var windowH = 250;

var stage:Stage = Stage {
width: bind windowW
height: bind windowH
style: StageStyle.TRANSPARENT
}

(this is the simplest I could do)
I always get white background. At first I thought it was because of the OS (Windows XP), but the examples that I tried are running well with transparency..

Any ideas?

Yep, it was a dumb question - it turned out that i had to run the app as a "web-start" application to have the transparency.
Btw, what does the "Standard Execution" in NetBeans stand for? (you can find that option in project properties > "Run" category)

It stands for the Desktop applications.
