Hi,

I can compile CLDC and also applications made using it.
However, I want to know what are the sizes of different packages inside suite file. For example if I have a CLDC suite file then how can I know size of java/lang, javax/microedition and other packages.
I have tried to make suite file of individual packages however, it does not work. It is because of multiple complex bidirectional interdependencies.

Is there any way that I can know the packages sizes inside suite file?

Looking for your reply.

Forgot to mention the documention for the mapper in
doc/Mapper-TheSuiteFileDisassembler.html

http://fisheye4.atlassian.com/browse/~raw,r=98/squawk/trunk/doc/Mapper-T...

It explains the text file output in more detail.

The "mapper" can give a huge amount of detail on what is in a suite file. The information you are looking for would be towards the end of the output.

To decode the bootstrap suite file (squawk.suite) you can simply execute:
> d map squawk.suite

The mapper will create a text file squawk.suite.map

To map other suite files you will need to specify the classpath for the suite's classes. For more info see:
> d map -help
