I'm having trouble dragging applets out of the browser on Ubuntu 8.10. I'm not a Linux expert, but I followed the instructions from http://weblogs.java.net/blog/cayhorstmann/archive/2008/09/applet_draggin..., and I have Java 1.6.0_10-b33 installed and the new plugin activated in Firefox.

However whenever I try and drag an applet out of Firefox, both my applet and this one http://horstmann.com/applets/RoadApplet/RoadApplet.html I get the following exception:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve the problem?

I installed Update 12 from the early access page and my applets can be dragged out of the browser without that error, so I guess the solution is to grab the latest version of Java 6.

Cheers
