Hello,

I have installed the new version of 64bit java in Fedora 10 64bit:
java version "1.6.0_12-ea"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_12-ea-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.2-b01, mixed mode)

And I tried to make java applets to run in firefox 3.0.4 x86_64.

# ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_12/jre/lib/amd64/libjavaplugin_jni.so /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_jni.so

and in about:config
I set

java.java_plugin_library_name=javaplugin_jni

but no success.

I don't know if what I did is right. But I want to know how to enable the 64 bit java plugin in firefox.

Thank You !

Fixed.

It is enough to

ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_12/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/libnpjp2.so

That worked for me :)

Is there somewhere we could highlight that, in order to make it easier for others?
