Dear java3d colleagues,
I am not really a 3d format specialist so feel free to answer me even to improve my knowledge.

My need is to import into java3d programs assets files from google : http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/

I choose the "collada" format (most standard type)...It seems it is a zip with :
- one collada .dae file
-many images
- one .kml file

Question :
1) Does anyone has ever done it, import from google 3d repository ?
( I Googled it but without sucess).

2) Has anyone heard of a way to import collada ( .dae ) files ?

Thank you, Thierry.

it is as if he could not read from the xml file the component specifications such as color, material, etc ...
