Web site seems very slow when downloading and tends to lock up the browser or not display properly.
Is the site overloaded? Not to be unexpected today but even a few minutes ago from link on home page of javasoft get server up page for version 9.1 of Sun's app server.
I was able to this morning get to the page from another location and it is very nice looking. Just seems a lot of issues today.
I do look forward to seeing some of the demos if ww can get to them and they download quickly instead of taking many minutes to start. I was using 1.6.0_07.
You can download source code of demo's after you click on one.
For now there is only Windows and Mac version of SDK - stil waiting.
I download all videos by Firefox add-on "DownThemAll" - it also have problems, but built-in player was much worst.
Thanks for the tip.
Site still is acting as if it is not accessable right now. Earlier I was able to get to page where there should have been an applet but the page was mostly blank instead of an applet I saw at 8:00AM PST but even then the applet was launched but never finished launching so I did not see it work.
Thanks but maybe I should wait a couple of days till all the Product Launch issues are resolved? I am sure it will be a great product once people can really see and run it.
I still have high hopes for JavaFX but the Launch process is slightly frustrating.
Now site is unavailable for all;)
Sun's "another new language" can't be so popular;)
As you post, better wait couple of days...
Looks like nobody expected that much traffic. I heard, they added some resources and it should be fine now. I don't have any problems anymore.
