Hi,Shai
I just saw your blog about listCellRenderer from here: http://lwuit.blogspot.com/2008/08/model-mvc-million-contacts-march.html
And now,I am doing a small proj which need to use list.I have two prob:
1)why there is a gap between each container in the list.this really bother me so much that I am sure I already set all items' margin and padding into zero.
2)In your exam from the article, when one item is selected, you use "setBgTransparency" to focus it.I prefer to set the container's background image.when this item is selected ,I want to change it's background image. Can I do like this?how?

any one who can give tips will have great thanks.

BTW:when I use transition for switching between different form, this costs too much memory.

set the renderer margin to 0 and set the list item gap to 0.

For the background image just use the focus component and set its
bgImage to the desired image.

This is explained in detail in the memory performance discussion.
This highly depends on the type of the transition and the screen
size, all memory is reclaimed once the transition is complete.
