Access to incubator

I have been following the instructions to gain access to the swinglabs
incubator at
http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Javadesktop/SwingLabsHowToHelp and emailed
rbair with a signed contributor agreement. I haven't received a response
in five days (Sent on the Oct 7).

Is this still the right procedure to gain incubator access? Is there
another person I can send the contributor agreement to?

Thanks,

Greg

Hey Greg,
Richard is quite overwhelmed with other tasks these days.
Please go to https://jdnc-incubator.dev.java.net and click on "request
project membership/role" and select role "Developer".
I'll grant you the role (and access that comes with it) within a day
then.
Cheers,
Jan

Interesting ... in other words, we don't require a JCA any longer? Or
does it mean that "we" no longer includes Sun?

Anyway, if this is the current recommended procedure, would you please
update the wiki (and any other places) to include it.

thanks

I think it is SCA now instead of JCA, but otherwise nothing has changed.
You sign and send it to Richard as he is the official leader of the
project. I merely run some day-to-day tasks, nothing else. Not sure what
you mean by "we" and Sun references. If what I wrote before gave some
wrong impression of things being changed somehow, then I apologize.

The procedure is still the same. Sing, send to Richard. Perhaps I should
add there the "request the role" step as it makes it easier for me
rather then having to search for user. That's all.

Jan,

no problem here :-)

just that the procedure looks completely nuts to me: Richard still must
receive the agreement and then act somehow - either approving the role
himself or pinging you to do it. Don't see much of a saving in the
latter ;-) But if you feel like it, no objection of course.
