Hi All,

If i deploy the call-controller2 in the local we can able to register in the x-lite and we can able to call from both sides in the LAN.If i deploy the same thing in the different networks(eg:Reliance)and through x-lite soft phone if i register in the two different networks
we can able to call(eg:Tataindocom,Airtel). Here mobicent-cr2 server and the x-lites are in different networks.
The problem is:
If i register in l LAN we can able to call from LAN(Reliance lan) to other networks(Airtel),but we can't able to call from other networks to LANiam using mobicent-cr2 server with port number
5080.
Please help me in this issue.

Thanks&Regards
Chenchu.

Hi All,
I am also facing the same issue while accessing Jain Slee through LAN.

For Example:
a. Public IP address
When the message is transfer from client A(which has an public IP address) to client B(has public IP address), the message is delivered and vice versa also working.
b. LAN:
When the message is transfer from client A(which is connected to LAN) to client B(has public IP address), the message is delivered.
But when the message is transfer from client B(public IP address) to client A(which is connected to LAN), the message hits the server but the message is not delivered to the destination client in the LAN.

Please suggest me to solve the NAT problem in Jain Slee.
I have gone through "STUN Server" whether it will be used to solve the NAT problem?
How to integrate "STU" in Jain Slee.

Thanks & Regards

Please create an Issue at http://code.google.com/p/mobicents/issues/entry so that the SIP RA provides STUN support. It currently doesn't.
Interested in contributing it also ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Deruelle,

Thanks for the reply. I have some queries, please clarify it.
In Sip Servlet STUN is integrated?
I have read in White paper STUN is not supporting for Symmetric NAT, instead of that ICE is supporting all the NAT types.
Can you suggest me how to use STUN or ICE in mobicent and how to solve NAT issue, because I got hold over NAT issue.

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

Indeed STUN support is integrated into Mobicents Sip Servlets. See http://www.mobicents.org/stun.html for more information and configuration.

TURN and ICE support are not yet supported so if you feel like it's missing or if the current STUN support is not enough for your use case please create an Issue.
