Hello all,

I am new to jdic. I've downloaded the jdic-0.9.5-bin-cross-platform.zip. I've extracted it. I've added the jar file to the libraries of my project in netbeans.

import org.jdesktop.jdic.browser.*;

The import statements work. But inside the folder there is no browserEngineManager infact the folder is missing many of the classes that the documentation online mentions.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

It seems the class has been removed sometime. Is there any chance I can tell the WebBrowser that it should use IE instead of the system default browser under winxp? Altering the registry is not an alternative.

WARNING: YOU MAY NOT LIKE THE SOLUTION

Hello 20mithrandir,

I'm sure you know or have done this. The way I work around it is simply set IE as the default web browser just to make the program work. Of course it is not a real solution. But I just wanted to see the program work.

Sorry for the disapointment.
