Hi All,

I want to understand SLEE with respect to network abstraction. That is if i want to have a single application eg. call forwarding which can be used by all the networks sip, pstn, mobile etc. As searched from google it seems that this can be achieved using java call control API.
If i use JCC how to connect the different network elements to the SLEE to use JCC.

or else how can i achieve this network abstraction.

Please suggest me how can i achieve this?

Thanks & Regards

Not sure if JCC offers iterop between different protocols, from YOur description is more liek an application - You have to provide logic to interop between different protocols and add JCC layer on it.

As matter of fact JCC offers abstraction interface , but implementation works on specifici protocol.

hi baranowb,
Thanks for the reply.

"JCC offers abstraction interface , but implementation works on specifici protocol"
Please explain how can this be done or achieved as iam not understanding the difference.I can write a call forwarding applciaiton using jain sip giving the CallForwardSBB the SIP event .But if i want to use the same SBB for In also how can i do that apart from adding additional IN event to that SBB. How does JCC help here.

Or otherwise without JCC how can the network abstraction is acheived.

Thanks & Regards
