Hi,

Using NetBeans 6.1, from a BPEL process I'm trying to invoke an external web service described by the following WSDL:

http://langrid.nict.go.jp/langrid-1.2/wsdl/NaturalDisasters

I created a composite application in order to test my process, and when I try to build it, I'm getting the following errors (all of the same type):

/langrid.nict.go.jp/langrid-1.2/wsdl/naturaldisasters.wsdl:10: 5
ERROR: src-resolve: Cannot resolve the name 'soapenc:Array' to a(n) 'type definition' component.

/langrid.nict.go.jp/langrid-1.2/wsdl/naturaldisasters.wsdl:36: 5
ERROR: src-resolve: Cannot resolve the name 'soapenc:Array' to a(n) 'type definition' component.

Any idea what could cause that?

Thanks!

I had the same issue today.

In my case, it may have something to do with latest WSDL code generating tools (JAX-WS 2.0, JAXB 2...) don't support the deprecated rpc/encoded wsdl bindings.

Using SOAP UI, I've had to revert to JAX-RPC, Axis 1 and looks like Axis 2 works as well.
When I say 'work', I don't get these errors and client artifact code gets generated!

hey dawg,
Did you get an answer to your question? I am having the exact same problem with one of our WSDLs.
