Hi,
what can i use in place of a textbox in jmaki the closest i have sin is an inplace widget so any other

I just need sometin that can act as on line editor and an auto complete editor my thinking is that those yahoo widget work only when there on line.

When you say on-line do you mean have remote services to call? If so they do not require this but can certainly work with service. If you want to use them in offline mode you can simply specify the values in the value attribute. An example of the yahoo.autocomplete would be:

[code]

[/code]

This would autocomplete Alabama if you typed a etc....

We have an autocomplete textbox using yahoo and scriptaculous as well as text editors from dojo and yahoo. What features are you wanting your text box to have?
