Removal of 'Virtual' keyboards on Windows Mobile
We're trying to port our MIDP application to Windows Mobile using PhoneME feature.
We are usng the latest binaries from davy at this site:
We have two open issues that we are struggling to find resolutions for.
1. We want to remove the blue toolbars at the top and bottom of the screen that are placed there by PhoneME. We can remove the top toolbar by passing in null as a title. The bottom toolbar seems to be used for displaying commands that are added to the screen. However, we are not adding commands but are still getting a bottom toolbar that has a single option on the left side titled "virtual". Tapping this command brings up a 4 way directional pad.
Is there any way to completely supress the PhoneME virtual keyboard and force the bottom blue bar to disappear?
2. At the bottom of the screen, PhoneME is also allowing the display of the standard Windows Mobile on screen keyboard icon. When pressed, this icon displays an on screen QWERTY keyboard.
Is there any way to supress this button as well in PhoneME. Our screens do not have any text fields so this icon is unnecessary.
Our application has it's own bottom toolbar which is getting overwritten by the above two items...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
