Outcome starting with "/" is the view to render - where is it in JSF 1.2?

Hi,

Where in the JSF 1.2 spec is described that an outcome starting with "/" is the view to render? Is it always so?

Are you using Seam? I know that seam takes care of redirecting to the view
if a view is the action outcome.

Haven't tried this in any non-Seam apps because I didn't think that it
worked like that in plain jsf.
