I use jdic (with IeEmbed.exe) but it causes this error sometimes:
I get it on windows xp 32/64 and vista.

I happens SOMETIMES when i set some html content(string) to the component.

JDIC has encountered a problem and needs to close.
The biggest trouble is that it occurs rarely and i can not generate the situation always so i can not get the reason. I think the native code tries to access a bad memory pointer and crashes the whole program.

timestamp 0x47c7f544, module IeEmbed.exe, status code 0xc0000005, error offset 0x00006b2a, process id 0x10e4

when i see the event viewer of windows, i see the error caused by ieembed exe all with the same error paramteres.

Hi Tayans,

Not sure which version of JDIC you are using but I have the same issue with 0.9.5.

Regardless, JDIC is no longer supported by anyone. There is JDICplus which is the next version of JDIC but redesigned to be "semi-lightweight" but I am not sure if that is supported either any longer since the developer "uta" indicated in an interview that he may not continue much longer on that project.

As you may have noticed requests for help for 0.2.2 have gone unanswered by the developer perhaps because he has not replyed maybe because he is on vacation? Hopefully it means he is trying to fix the problem.

I am pleased by the amount of effort that has gone into JDICplus 0.2.2 but I am not sure since it's June release there will be support. Very nice set of features in it.

Regards,
-Tony
