I was trying to build Squawk on Linux (Ubuntu 8.04, java 1.5) as explained on the wiki (http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Mobileandembedded/OnLinux). The building process went ok, but when I try to execute "squawk com.sun.squawk.Test", I get the following error:

"./squawk: error while loading shared libraries: libjvm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

How can I tell squawk which libvm.so to use?

Thanks a lot

OK, thanks for finding this.

You first need to set an environment variable. Execute the command:

d.sh jvmenv

This will tell which variable to set to which value. I've updated the wiki.
