Hi all,

I can not found any information about JXTA limitations.
What is the maximum number of peers that we can use with JXTA? Is there any article about limitations? All stuff is welcome!

Thanks a lot

Christophe

Well, I'm sure there are limitations that depend very much on the infrastructure that's in place. e.g. How many seeds, relays and rdvs are used in the network.

I suppose maybe some useful information would be on how JXTA performs with large networks and differing infrastructure configurations - and I'm quite sure there's a few papers documenting experiments like this out there.

Yes of course, also think that there are limitations on the number of resources you handle and want to share in each peer.
If you have some papers references I am interested on these topics.

Hi,

There is no limitation regarding the number of peers in JXTA. You just need to make sure they are properly connected with seeds, relays and rdvs when necessary.
