HELLO ,

HOE CAN WE SET THE ITEMS OF A COMBOBOX TO BE DISPLAYED IN A RIGHT TO LEFT ALIGNMENT.

PLEASE NOTE RIGHT TO LEFT ALIGNMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DISPLAY ARABIC CHARACTERS.

THANK YOU

Hi,
right now bidi support doesn't exist in LWUIT. This is something
thats rather important to us in the long run but we want to implement
it in such a way that won't cause a performance/size penalty for the
entire application which is a bit difficult.
Having said that you can just create your own DefaultListCellRenderer
and invoke setAlignment(Component.RIGHT) on it, then set it to the
combo box which should solve that particular issue.

Be warned that text field has issues with bidi and text area might
not display bidi text properly. Bitmap fonts won't work in RTL
languages either.
Since there is no global bidi setting you would have to manually
align everything which is a bit counter intuitive at the moment.

Thanks,
Shai.
