I just installed the Netbeans PHP Express. I also installed the XAMPP and I do confirm that Apache and Mysql are running.

In netbeans, I made some simple, default project:

</p>
<p>        <?php<br />
            echo "hey there!"<br />
        ?></p>
<p>

And when I try to run it, I get a 404 page.

What do you think is wrong?
Thanks

Could you write, where are your sources located?

The sources has to be visible for your Apache. If there are not, then you have to define the folder, where the sources are copied during run or debug action. You can change it in the project customizer.
