I've builded a JDBC Optional Package on phoneME Advanced platform as described at this link - http://blogs.sun.com/wittyman/entry/building_jdbc_for_cdc_foundation

Now I'd like to know what do I have to do with the builded jar file for my application (a simple java application with a database access using jdbcc driver executing a simple sql select statement) to work. Do I maybe have to include it in my project, correct the execution path in the shortcut for the application on the mobile device or do I have to build the whole enviroment again using the JDBC optional package?

Thanks

Hi zrc,

Have you read through the following URL yet?

http://wiki.apache.org/db-derby/JavaMESupport#phoneME

Take a look there how you would add first the jsr169.jar file to the
-Xbootclasspath/a:... as a support library, then how you use -classpath
to point to your app JAR file(s) and run your main Java app:

Ex.

cvm -Xbootclasspath/a:jsr169.jar
-classpath $DERBY_HOME/lib/derby.jar:$DERBY_HOME/lib/derbytools.jar
org.apache.derby.tools.ij -p ij.properties
