Hi;

Is there a way to navigate in the same window without popup windows creation?

Thanks

http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/linking/linking_famsupp_72.html when we click the my popup link in that link, it is opening it at new tab. When we try to close that tab, it is taking many time to close it.

Any ideas?

I really need to block pop up windows, but still can not find a solution. The code that uta mentioned is totally meaningless and it is buggy. Are not there an easy way to block pop up windows, or are there any plan to block pop ups at new version?

It seems developers are no more interested in the questions at that forum.

Below code is the code that you mentioned, but I can not open popup at existing window. When I give existing window's handle, I am getting Java script error. Any idea?
Thanks.

case BrComponentEvent.DISPID_NEWWINDOW2:
final BrComponent sbr = (BrComponent)e.getSource();
sbr.setActionFiler(0, true);
try {
SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait(new Runnable() { public void run() {
BrComponent br = openInNewBrowserPanel(null);
if (null != br) {
res[0] = "0," + br.getNativeHandle();
}
sbr.setActionFiler(0, false);
}});
} catch (Exception ex) {
Logger.getLogger(BrTabbed.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
}
break;

The event with id = DISPID_NEWWINDOW2 is responsible for new window creation.
BrComponent is opening popup in new windows by default.

JTabPanel is opening popup in new tab (the implementation is in JTabPanel.sync method).

Do you like to block the context menu?
That is possible by Java script injection.
