cc1: warnings being treated as errors

Hi..

I get the following error when trying to build the 'phoneME Feature Software Reference Port' on linux/x86

solved! ;)

It was the gcc version problem. I was using 4.0.3, which is more stringent.
v3.3 worked great!
thanks..

but the problem of bringing it up still remains :(
I'm still getting the following error:

"open of /tmp/.qtvfb_mouse-0 failed"

set Qtopia framebuffer before proceeding :-
>> qvfb -depth 16 -width 176 -height 210 &
note: qvfb binary is most likely under /opt/Qtopia/bin (depends on your installation)
