After playing around with Scenegraph I have felt the need for a more visual way of creating Scenegraph applications. I know that are able to do exactly that using the JavaFXPad, but I haven't had the time to learn JavaFX script. What I wanted to do was creating a visual display of a Scenegraph while you edit the Java code.

Check it out in my blog

I hope you find it cool :-)

This is really nice (as is the sample pie chart demo included :-).

I thought I'd also add the TreeNodeView I created ages ago (displays
scene graph nodes in a tree)
but the source link on your page gave me a 404 error. (?)

Hi all

I have updated the Scenegraph Shell project to support full Java syntax, thanks to the Eclipse compiler. (Unfortunately I didn't manage to get the Eclipse compiler working in Java Web Start, due to some classloading stuff). But the standalone version works fine.

Check it out here.

Please let me know what you think :-)

I have released Scenegraph Shell 0.3 with the following features:
- Webstart support for java compiler
- Better compile error handling
- New Java Scenegraph

You find it here
