Hi,

I installed http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/GetFile/1.6.0_10-beta-b25/windows... on my machine, launched FireFox3 and tried running http://java.sun.com/applets/jdk/1.4/demo/applets/BarChart/example1.html

FireFox crashed:

Unhandled exception at 0x02b5a970 in firefox.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation.

The Visual Studio stack-trace was:

02b5a970()
jkernel.dll!6d3a4055()

I also have a mini-dump from Visual Studio which I put up at http://bbs.darktech.org/firefox.dmp because I don't think it's possible to upload files to this forum. Please let me know if you need any more information from me to be able to reproduce this.

PS: I am running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 under Windows Vista x64

Thank you,
Gili

BTW: When the crash occurs, Windows reports it actually originated at jp2iexp.dll
