hi: I am working a project for the company to migrate our mobile application to J2ME.

The mobile device we have are Windows Mobile 5 and Pocket PC 2003.

Does any one know how to deploy a simple hello program into PC 2003 for example?

I follow the netbeans tutorial and it build a hello program. I then install a Intent Midlet manager in PPC.

I copy over my hello.jar and hello.jad. I clicks on the hello.jar and it complaints that it can't open the file.

Does any one know where I can get step by step example? Thanks.

Oh, one more thing:

I seem to remember you need to install the midlet via the midlet manager first and then run the midlet from the midlet manager UI. Have you tried that?

Looks like your installation is missing the associations between the jad/jar files and the midlet manager. I am not a PPC 2003 expert but I found this pretty extensive midlet manager tutorial:

Hope this helps,
