Guys.. this sounds really weird but I reinstalled cyg4me and instead of setting the env variables from the command line for the current session, I set them from the System Properties dialog and it worked!

(Win*** is ridiculous.. ain't it?)

Jokes apart, I guess may be I was doing something wrong..

I had tried building PCSL for phoneME_feature on windows before.. but such a problem never arose..
I've checked the env variables over and over again.. Can anyone tell me what could possibly be wrong! :(

Thanks a lot for your help..

Hi gaganmalik,

Make a folder c:\temp

Then start a cygwin/bash shell and then execute the following commands:

mkdir -p /tmp
mount c:/temp /tmp

Hopefully this helps

Davy

I'm sorry.. The PCSL_PLATFORM was not set correctly :)

but now after I've set it to "javacall_i386_vc" I'm getting the following error:

---------------------------
mkdir: cannot create directory `/tmp': No such file or directory
chmod: getting attributes of `/tmp': No such file or directory
make: *** [CYGWIN_TMP_DIR] Error 1
