Hello Sir,

We have constructed one Java Application. It consist JavaMail Application(POP3/IMAP) for sending/receiving purposes.

We have used the following language
JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, ANT, Tomcat Web Server, Firefox and IE supports, MSSQL 2000 Server, XML, Ajax, JSP, Servlet, JDK1.5, JBOSS

This project is perfectly working in Windows Platform.

We wanted to host this project into Linux.

Could you please tell me, the above configuration/languages supports to run Linux System?

If some of the configuration is not supported, then please tell me, how to overcome that problems also.

Please let me know.
It will helpful to us.

Thanks and Regards,
Edward

If you want to host the entire application on linux, your database engine (MSSQL 2000 Server) must be change to MySQL or Postgres (or others)

Other components are (normally) compatible.

You have to be careful with directory name or some other tricky differences between Linux and Windows platform.
