Hi
I am looking for a Java ME flavor with AWT/Swing support for an embedded system. It needs to run on X86 Linux with OpenGL backend. The Java GUI needs to run without XServer.
Is there a Java ME flavor that can do this?

Does LWUIT need Xserver?

Thanks

Hi Videoguy,
LWUIT is not so much a Java ME flavor but rather a toolkit on top of
MIDP so if the MIDP implementation you are using supports headless
operation with your requirements this shouldn't be a problem.

Java SE supports headless mode (without X server support) so you can
use that, if you still want a Java ME flavor I think the best place
to ask such a question would be in the KVM-Interest mailing list/forum.

Thanks,
Shai.
