ItemStateListener is a generic listener in MIDP that tries to be too
generic.
What is your use case? and what are you trying to achieve?

I have the same question. I plan to convert a "form" MIDP app to LWUIT. I use the itemStateListener to update data according to the changed item's data.

Thanks,

Hi,
It is really dependent on your application logic and UI.(LWUIT API is
very different from MIDP API).
For more info on our event handling check the tutorial at:

Thanks. I just looked at the TextField API and it has this addDataChangeListener. Have not tried it but I think it is what I was looking for.
