Announcing the LWUIT Incubator

In preparation for our open sourcing we have started an incubator
project here: https://lwuit-incubator.dev.java.net/

The incubator allows 3rd party developers to join and commit code for
LWUIT, e.g. you think LWUIT really needs a new Spinner component you
can just add it to incubator and it might trickle down to LWUIT proper.
There are proper instructions within the incubator project but to sum
things up:
You need to sign the SCA for Sun (otherwise we can't accept
contributions due to legal complexities)
Once you do that you can join incubator and contribute code, build
your own directory in the incubator and commit code.

You can start contributing even before the LWUIT source code is
available since additional components do not require source code access.

If possible please try to ask questions regarding incubator in this
thread so it serves as a reference to the incubator project.

Thanks,
Shai.

I want to contribute to lwuit-incubator and in this regards i tried to mail my scanned OCA to the below mentioned email ids but with each id my mails have bounced back.

The email ids are

  1. oracleca_us...
  2. oracle-ca_us...

Can you please let me know the correct email id to send my scanned OCA ?

You should probably have opened a new thread, this one is really old ;-)

You can try: LWUIT_COMMUNITY_WW@ORACLE.COM

Which should reach us directly.

Thanks.

Appreciate for your prompt response.

And yes i agree i could have created a new thread but my intention was to keep the related information linked and threaded so that any future reference is fast and easy.

Will be more decisive going forward.

Thanks.
