Hi,

I am trying to create a sample application in JavaFX that would support live RTP streaming video. Does anyone know if video is currently supported by any of the JavaFX UI components? Also, I was trying to create some rich buttons for my UI by embedding images on them, but that doesn't seem to work when I try it out using JFXBuilder. The "Custom Widgets" section on another wiki has "Sweet Button" which I am using now, but I get numerous compiler errors when I run this using the NetBeans 6.1 IDE (with the JavaFX plugin). Does someone have any other suggestion on how to make buttons look richer? Please do let me know.

Thanks,
Vikram.

JavaFX will use the Java media components for video. At the moment the jmc.jar
is in the version control system of the JavaFX Script Compiler (javafxgui/lib/jmc.jar).

No idea if it works at the moment at if it (will) support RTP streaming.

The jar is available, however the dll/.so/.dynlib that provide native integration to WMP, QT and Gstreamer are harder to find, i don't know if they're downloadable ...

I have been searching for the dll without luck. When I try to do anything with JMC, I get a console message that the library could not be loaded. If anyone finds it, let me know!
