I am finally making progress, it is really slow for me since I only have a few mins to work on this a week. Anyway, I have finally figured out that there is a glue.js file and got an alert to show upon clicking an image in the fisheye demo, like I said I don't have a lot of time to work on this. I am on to my next baby step. I want to call a function in a php file when the image in the fisheye is clicked.

My final objective is to allow users to use fisheye to develop image galleries and by dragging images from the master list, or another gallery to any of the galleries they are working with. But first I need to know how to send data back to the server and process it in PHP.

Any help is appreciated

So everyone knows where I am trying to get to with this, in case you have any suggestion, is something like the following in jMaki.

Just add more "carts" to this example

Any pointers are appreciated.

Hi ddevore,

See the sample getwidgetdata which is in the php standalone bundle. Here I get data from an editor widget and send it back to the server. It may be helpful.

php bundle with samples is on the download page.

You need to unzip the file and go to jmaki-php/samples. The sample is called getwidgetdata. Look at the web/php/index.php file and the glue.js (in the same dir) files. The build step requires ant and we are going to remove that requirement in an upcoming release. Basically the build step copies the files in the correct directory structure and creates a zip file.

If you still have questions please let us know.
